addiction??
would u consider something that u crave for night and day an addiction?? what if u loose sleep when u feed the addiction and can't even tell the difference cuz ur just looking foreward to the next "fix"?? how about calling in sick just so u can do this?? If u consider these signs of addiction plz help with ideas of ways to control the addiction or beat it and yeah I know its wrong when I'm doing it I just can't help it and im sorry but i'm doing it right now

There are many different ways to get support, everything from the traditional Narcotics or Alcoholics Anonymous to Harm Reduction programs (if we are talking about a substance, which it sounds like). - Yes. That would be an addiction. You are channeling all your energy into this one thing. The only way to fix it is to channel the energy your putting into that addition into other, "healthier" things. It is impossible to ignore the lust for what you want, we are human, it is built in us. Instead we must exert that energy into positive things, thus the addition will go away. For example lets say stealing. (anything can become an addiction). The stealer instead can do something useful with their hands such as share with those in need. That is a drastic example but it shows what I am trying to say. As Rob Bell puts it: "Whatever it is that has its hooks in you, you will never be free from it until you find something you want more. It's not about getting rid of the desire. It's about giving ourselves to bigger and better and more powerful desires." I hope this helps you situation.

- you cannot "control" an addiction. Addictions make no sense logically, people lose jobs, friends, families, their health, houses, etc all because of addictions. If they could be controlled this would never happen. You can receive treatment but it is treatment outside yourself that you need - true addictions cannot be controlled.

- It's masturbation, isn't it? Well, I'd say the best way to beat that is to get laid. Go find someone you trust and if there's mutual trust and attraction, get laid. If not, I would suggest two things: Wait until your hormones calm down, or drown yourself. Either way, you die in the end.
